Congratulations to all the congregation of the St. Christopher Catholic Church in Jamestown, Tennessee. The new church is a beacon of light to the entire community. Driving down the bypass at night, I could not help but notice the magnificent steeple.

Foggy Morning
One of the things that I love about home is my driveway. It meanders through the wood about 1700 feet. On this morning, the fog was rolling in as it often does on the Cumberland Plateau. A little tweeking of the contrast and saturation rendered this image to appear almost surreal.

Fun Capturing Speed
I spent some time this weekend photographing this young man on his "crotch rocket". I found it very challenging to strike a balance between having the subject in focus and the background streaking to give that sense of speed. Of coarse, Photoshop can do a lot to create that illusion.
We can almost recognize facial features of the mystery driver.
Nothing beats a 85mm f1.8 portrait lense to capture the eyes that my daughter fell in love with.
