Mary Ann and Jacob are always lots of fun to be around. Jacob admittedly does not particularly enjoy having his photo made. But he was a great sport about it, as always. We chose a beautiful fall day late in the afternoon. We tried to include there dogs with limited success.Wednesday, October 17, 2007

Fun Capturing Speed
I spent some time this weekend photographing this young man on his "crotch rocket". I found it very challenging to strike a balance between having the subject in focus and the background streaking to give that sense of speed. Of coarse, Photoshop can do a lot to create that illusion.
We can almost recognize facial features of the mystery driver.
Nothing beats a 85mm f1.8 portrait lense to capture the eyes that my daughter fell in love with.
